Why Choose Aham Yoga for Beginner Yoga in Redmond?

Personalized Attention

Our beginner yoga classes are taught in a small group, structured workshop, allowing teachers to give clear guidance and individual support — something drop-in classes simply can’t offer.

No Prior Yoga Experience Required

You don’t need to know poses, be flexible, or know yoga before you start. We teach everything from the ground up.

No Flexibility Requirements

Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga — it’s a result of consistent practice. You come as you are.

Highly Trained, Experienced Yoga Teachers

Our teachers are skilled in teaching real beginners, not just advanced practitioners. Instruction is clear, safe, and grounded in anatomy and breath.

Supportive & Inclusive Yoga Community

Why a Yoga Workshop (Not Drop-In Class) Is Best for Beginners

Many people searching for beginner yoga in Redmond start with drop-in classes — and often feel overwhelmed, or confused.  A structured workshop class allows you to:

  • Learn poses progressively

  • Build confidence

  • Ask questions without pressure

  • Connect with breath more consistently

  • Understand why you’re doing what you’re doing

This approach leads to better results and a more enjoyable yoga experience. You simply sign up and show up — we guide you through each step. Once the workshop is complete, we help you transition into the next appropriate level of yoga practice, so you’re never left wondering where to go next.
