Prana & Presence

An Immersive Week of Yoga, Stillness & Soulful Study in Southern Italy

COME RETREAT

Salento, Italy | September 26th - October 3rd 2026

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of southern Italy, Yoga in Salento (YIS) is located in Zollino, in the heart of the Salento peninsula. Surrounded by olive groves, open skies, and the soft rhythms of rural life, YIS is a sanctuary designed for deep restoration. The region is known for its warm Mediterranean climate, turquoise beaches, historic villages, and slow, mindful way of living—an ideal environment to step away from daily routines and reconnect with yourself.

This retreat is a return — to self, to breath, to practice, to presence. A warm, nourishing week where we live slowly, breathe fully, study deeply, and reconnect with the quiet parts of ourselves that daily life tends to drown out. A retreat for the yoga teacher who rarely gets to be a student, the yoga nerd craving immersive practice, the professional running at 200% who needs space to soften, and the dedicated yoga practitioner longing for depth, clarity, and real rest. If that sounds like you, welcome. You’ll feel right at home.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This week will feel deeply supportive if you are:

  • A yoga teacher who is seeking to refill their own cup, reconnect with lineage-based practice, and be a student again.

  • A yoga nerd who loves exploring philosophy, breath, meditation, subtle body, and practice beyond “just poses.”

  • A wellness-seeker who is craving quiet, reflection, and the nourishment of slow living.

  • A professional who is needing space to unwind, soften, and breathe again

  • A long-time Aham Yoga student who resonates with Arundhati's teaching and wants to experience it in a more intimate, immersive setting.

If you want depth, spaciousness, spiritual nourishment, and real rest, then you’ll love this retreat.

Why This Retreat is Different & What to Expect

Most retreats are built like vacations. This one is built like a sanctuary. Step into a slower rhythm of life—one where the air feels softer, the days stretch spaciously before you, and yoga becomes a gentle companion to your travels. This retreat offers a relaxing and expansive way to experience both your practice and the beauty of Salento.

Your days will unfold through:

  • Two immersive practices daily - asana, pranayama, meditation & subtle-body inquiry

  • Community meals prepared with care

  • Long, unhurried afternoons for rest, journaling, the pool, or quiet reflection

  • Evenings of philosophy, discussion, and contemplative practices

  • The gentle spaciousness of a week lived intentionally

This is a warm, community-oriented immersion where you’re held, supported, and invited to reconnect with the deeper threads of yoga — without pressure, without performance, and without distraction.

Well before you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a private WhatsApp group where you’ll receive regular guidance on what to bring, how to plan, and everything you need to feel fully prepared. From travel tips to retreat updates, you’ll feel connected, supported, and ready.

Mostly, you’ll be preparing for deep restoration—a week of ease, sunlight, inner spaciousness, and blissful yoga moments. Think warm breezes, slow mornings, nourishing food, and the kind of relaxation that lingers long after you’ve returned home.
